“Because I have daughters, I wanted them to know that even on your worst day, you have to still find a way to love yourself.” - Niecy Nash
In these recent years, ‘self-love’ or ‘self-care’ has turned into a simple idea of accepting who you are to spending fortunes towards skincare products, spas, and other shopping-related actions. Consumers often believe the phrase: “Money doesn’t make you happy”; yet ironically, splurging money on products—they probably won’t need in a week or so—seemed to solve the solution of “happiness.”
I’m not one for spending money every time I have an awful day; I had to come up with an idea to replicate this toxic idea to one that’ll be useful for me in the next years.
This is my series under construction.
